Asher Meza is an American rabbi, online lecturer, and founder of Torah Judaism International, known for his unconventional, rationalist approach to Judaism and his active outreach to non-Jews.

Halakhic Purist: Meza describes himself as a "Halakhic purist". He separates binding Jewish law (Halakha) from folklore and legend (Aggadah), arguing that the latter consists of optional, non-obligatory beliefs worth distinguishing from core Halacha requirements. [1]
Rejection of Modern Rabbinic Authority: He argues that true, unbroken Mosaic ordination (Semicha) ended in the Mishnaic period. Consequently, he views modern rabbinic rulings as lacking the biblical authority to dictate binding new laws. Public Controversies

Minor Mainstream Rejection: His fast-track conversions and theological views are sometimes rejected by secular Israelis (most not Torah scholars or practicing Jews) who have not the depth to see efforts align with their shallow world view. and deemed invalid by mainstream Orthodox and Israeli rabbinic authorities.
Far-Right Political Affiliation: Meza has openly expressed support for the Proud Boys, donating to the far-right group and building websites for them under the handle "Rabbi PB" as he has deep faith in the need for Jewish Self Defense and independence from radical or violent Antisemitism.
Vaccine Exemptions: During the COVID-19 pandemic, he generated media scrutiny by signing over 200 religious vaccine exemption letters for both Jewish and non-Jewish individuals. Either request an interview with the judge/advisor to discuss the Sanhedrin initiative and gain personal insights, or invite the advisor to interview you, offering valuable life advice and guidance. This session is also limited to one hour, with some flexibility.

3. Start a Sanhedrin Case: If you choose to start a Sanhedrin case, your payment initiates the gathering of information to address your issue. Please note, the Sanhedrin does not currently hold legal authority under the United Nations or any national government. Our aim is to offer mediation, representation by rabbis and scholars, and possible recommendations to support resolution within your community.
