  • Dr. Trappler Psychiatric Practice Terms Of Service

Dr. B. Trappler MD Psychiatric Terms of Services

    Introduction

These terms of service ("Terms") outline the agreement between the psychiatric service provider ("Provider") and the client ("Client") regarding the provision of psychiatric services. By engaging in psychiatric services with the Provider, the Client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these Terms.

    Services Offered

The Provider offers psychiatric services, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, therapy sessions, medication management, and other related services as deemed appropriate by the Provider. The nature and frequency of these services will be determined based on the individual needs of the Client.

    Appointments and Cancellations

    3.1 Scheduling Appointments

The Client agrees to schedule appointments in advance, either by phone, email, or through the Provider's designated appointment scheduling system. The Provider will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the Client's preferred appointment times, subject to availability.

    3.2 Missed Appointments

The Client understands and agrees that missed appointments, without prior cancellation or rescheduling, can disrupt the treatment process and prevent others from accessing timely care. Therefore, the Provider's policy regarding missed appointments is as follows:

3.2.1 No Refunds for Missed Appointments

The Client acknowledges and agrees that missed appointments, regardless of the reason, will not be refunded. The Client will be responsible for the full cost of the missed appointment.

    3.2.2 Cancellation or Rescheduling

If the Client needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, they must provide reasonable notice to the Provider. The Provider's specific cancellation policy, including the notice period required, will be communicated to the Client at the commencement of services.

    Confidentiality and Privacy

The Provider adheres to strict confidentiality guidelines and protects the privacy of the Client in accordance with applicable laws and professional ethics. Information shared during psychiatric sessions will remain confidential unless legally required to be disclosed or when the Client poses a risk to themselves or others. The Client understands that electronic communication, such as email or teletherapy, may have inherent privacy risks, and they assume responsibility for any associated risks.

    Limitations of Liability

The Provider strives to offer high-quality psychiatric services, but the Client acknowledges that no guarantee of a specific outcome or cure can be made. The Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the provision or use of psychiatric services, including but not limited to financial loss or personal injury.

    Termination

Either the Provider or the Client may terminate psychiatric services at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the other party. The Provider reserves the right to terminate services if the Client fails to adhere to these Terms or if the Provider determines, in their professional judgment, that the continuation of services is not clinically appropriate or feasible.

    Modifications to the Terms

The Provider may update or modify these Terms at their discretion. Any changes to the Terms will be communicated to the Client, and continued engagement in psychiatric services will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

    Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Provider operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

By engaging in psychiatric services with the Provider, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in their entirety.
